Women Owned Business Community
I’ve always been a go-getter and have tried many different business opportunities. My first MLM was with Mary Kay and Amway back in the 80’s, Creative Memories and shop owner in the 90’s and then many different online business in the 20’s.
As a mum to 3 children under the age of 3, I was determined to be a stay at home mum even though I had a desire to work and make money, so I did both.
The one grounding factor with everything I have done or will do is based on serving others, a genuine desire to want to make a difference, to belong and to recognise and encourage each other.
Did you just sing that song I am Women How I love this song by Helen Reddy reminds me of the days of Creative Memories, where as a Director I would celebrate the achievements of my team of strong, invincible, wise women.
As a faith filled women, married for 29 years and mum to 3 adult children, I know that as a women, we can achieve anything.
I have long had the dream to connect women, to help them climb the mountain of life and empower them to encourage other women to do the same.
We all have a voice and a story to tell what is yours?
I have, that is why in March 2021 I started a Women’s Shed and why I have created this online community. I was lonely and depressed, full of anxiety and couldn’t seem to get out of self pity mode, in fact I couldn’t see what the point was in anything and no longer felt I had purpose or vision. I knew that the way out was to be part of something bigger than myself. Jim Rohn has a great quote.

Paint the picture this is possible when women support women.
